BioI cook, or I die. Really. It seems that it always comes back to cooking for me. I can never get a job outside of a restaurant, I can't eat take out for very long before feeling guilty and bored, and chopping vegetables is the only truly cathartic activity I have found. Why would mincing a stalk of celery be so rewarding? This journal's purpose is to share my culinary interests, and moreover, to vent about my job, which at the present, is a kitchen manager (don't call me chef!) at a dysfunctional New Orleans establishment. I live in New Orleans (as in the real city, not in some suburb), and am proud to do so.
